Hi-Res Creative received special congressional recognition for outstanding and invaluable service to the Coastal Bend at the Education to Employment Partners’ (E2E) annual awards ceremony and celebration on April 23. The 2015 Community Star Award and certificate were presented to Hi-Res Creative President, Jonathan Swindle, for the company’s work to foster college and career readiness via workshops, outreach, promotional support and volunteer work through partnerships with several area educational organizations.
In the past year, Hi-Res has been actively involved in the work of several local non-profits including the E2E, Citizens for Educational Excellence (CEE) and the Coastal Compass Education and Career Resource Center and events to help promote professional and educational opportunities in the area. In addition to assisting with the marketing and promotion of events such as the iDiscovery Safari, our team has also volunteered their time and talents when it came to producing commercials for iDiscovery and Coastal Compass, managing their respective websites, creating new brochures for E2E and writing news items and press releases for the organizations as needed. Hi-Res Creative Communications Director Marco Carbajal has been a guest presenter at several conferences in which he spoke to middle and high school students on how social media can help or hinder their future professional and educational aspirations. Mr. Swindle has also volunteered time participating in the planning and coordination of events as well as serving for three years on the E2E’s scholarship selection committee.
Mr. Swindle believes that to invest in our city’s youth is an investment in the future of the Coastal Bend as well as businesses like our own. “I am honored by the recognition and proud of the immense commitment my team and our partner organizations like E2E, CEE and Coastal Compass have displayed toward ensuring that our community continues to build a skilled workforce for generations to come,” he says.
Up next, Hi-Res prepares to assist the E2E with the upcoming GenerationTX day on May 1st at La Palmera Mall and looks forward to continuing to support the efforts of our dedicated partners and promoting educational and professional success for all.
