We build what the website builder wouldn’t let you build.
For fourteen years we’ve worked with the organizations that hold the Coastal Bend together — nonprofits, churches, ports, clinics, economic development corps. Most of them came to us from Wix, Squarespace, or GoDaddy, having hit a wall the platform had no intention of moving.
Case Studies
Case studies · 03Two separate organizations were trapped inside one dead donor platform their staff couldn't edit.
The Alumni Association and the Foundation (the university's Institutional Advancement / giving side) were running on Blackbaud NetCommunity — a platform that had reached end of life, was no longer supported, and was extremely difficult to work with. Staff couldn't easily update content, and two distinct organizations were locked into one rigid, dated system.
Read the case studyTheir business listings went stale the moment a shop changed its hours.
The Kingsville Visitors Center's previous site was about six years old and had been shaped under three prior tourism directors — no one on staff today had built it, and it no longer matched how the center communicates. It ran on a purchased tourism theme driven by WPBakery and Revolution Slider, held together by a fragile stack of plugins. Every restaurant, hotel, and attraction listing was hand-typed and went out of date the instant a business changed its hours; the newsletter ran on manual CSV imports; and the event slider had to be CSS-hacked to look presentable.
Read the case studyThey were reshaping how they worked to fit what Wix allowed.
Gulf Coast Humane Society was running on Wix and hitting its edges. Staff spent time fighting an increasingly complex builder just to update and maintain the site, and worse, they were bending their own workflows to match the tools Wix offered instead of the other way around. A shelter this active — adoptions, clinics, food pantry, foster, camps, merch — needed a website that reflected how they actually operate.
Read the case studyThe work above and the work below were made in two different eras.
Custom used to be a budget question. A nonprofit that needed a real integration got a template instead — not because we didn’t know how, but because bespoke development couldn’t be justified at their scale. That constraint is gone. The work we deliver now was, five years ago, priced out of reach for every organization on this page.
Access to tools was never the constraint. Every organization on this page came to us already holding tools — Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy. What they didn’t have was anyone who could tell them which tool would still be standing under the weight of what they actually needed. AI hasn’t changed that equation. It has raised the stakes. It will build whatever you ask for, quickly and confidently, including the wrong thing — and it will not tell you it’s the wrong thing. Fourteen years of shipping websites is what tells us what to ask for.
Fourteen years in the Coastal Bend
Before we specialized, we built the sites, brands, and print work that kept this community’s organizations running. Every one of these still has its page.
