Non-Profit Client Overview

The Instituto de Cultura Hispanica de Corpus Christi is a cultural organization created by citizens of South Texas in 1976 who have a common interest in the enhancement and promotion of Spanish culture. The organization hosts the Museum of Hispanic Culture in Corpus Christi’s Heritage Park, displaying information, art, and artifacts from approximately 20 Hispanic countries.

Website Design and Photography

The Instituto de Cultura Hispanica de Corpus Christi (ICH) required a website to help the organization raise funds for its 45th Gala Fundraiser while also promoting the existence of their Corpus Christi Heritage Park museum. Funds assist the non-profit in educating the community, promoting cultural exchange, awarding scholarships, and increasing awareness. ICH also sponsors events such as lectures, folklore displays, and social festivities that are rooted in traditions that can be shared with younger generations and the local community.

In the spirit of developing community endeavors, HRMG donated a large portion of the website development’s fees to support the organization’s mission. The website features include an event calendar with imported Facebook page events, as well as their Facebook and Instagram page feeds. Linking social media platforms to the official website helps build trust and demonstrate authenticity, and may help increase visibility on search engines as well. The website also has support for future multi-language development. The original logo for the organization was only available in a rasterized low resolution format. Illustrator Stephen Gregg vectorized the image for ICH. HRMG took high resolution photos of the museum’s interior to help craft a high quality website presence. As with all websites developed and hosted by HRMG, the website was built on LiteSpeed (a modern replacement for Apache web server) for fast load times, and a licensed cPanel platform with GUARD security and RAID SSD storage.
