Teen Bookfest by the Bay is an annual free book festival in the Coastal Bend that increases access to books and reading, and connects young adults with local and national authors. The festival is funded by grants and donations and is hosted by local librarians and educators. The bookfest includes author panels, writing workshops, and meet-and-greets with authors. Now in their seventh year, Teen Bookfest by the Bay has featured over 120 middle grade and young adult authors that support, promote, and celebrate the joy of reading.

Website Design & Content Development

HRMG has always welcomed opportunities to invest in furthering community development and advocate for education improvements for our youth. HRMG was privileged to continue the tradition by developing a custom website with a partial donation of fees as sponsorship of the non-profit.

While the bookfest maintains a social media presence, a custom website allows the organization to showcase the latest authors, books and attendance, relay news, and feature sponsors and vendors in one easily accessible platform. In addition to building the website, HRMG sourced the biographies and headshots of 30 authors for the event. Teen Bookfest by the Bay graciously featured HRMG as a sponsor during the main event and author dinner in appreciation.
