Client Overview
Although the company was never fully realized, Greater South Foods was a conceptualized startup between 3 proposed partners. The company was intended to become the parent company of a theoretical salsa brand known as Greater South Salsa.

Putting your best face forward is essential. A company’s brand is the first impression customers will have of your business. A well-designed logo sets the stage for what your company stands for and makes potential customers recall your brand and products. To begin constructing the new company’s brand identity, the founders of Greater South Foods (GSF) came to HRMG for help with creating a logo.
With guidance from the founding partner, the HRMG team designed three logos carefully considering the typography, style, and colors. The company pursued a ‘southern hospitality’ feel, pulling design influence from alcohol label designs, classic monograms, and Georgia’s magnolias.
The initial logo concepts were hand-sketched by Joshua Horowitz, then illustrated by Stephen Gregg.
