Genesis: The Road Less Traveled

Whoever said that starting a business doing what you love will be like never working a day in your life seriously lied. Not to say that we don’t absolutely love what we do and aren’t proud of what we can offer our growing list of clients. It’s just that it takes much more than passion to run a successful business. In fact, it takes an enormous amount of very tedious work—especially in this industry that we had to learn as we go along. So why do we do it? Simple. Because we find meaning in what we do.

Since its inception in 2012, Hi-Res Creative has undergone quite a bit of growing pains. There were sleepless nights, very lean months and yes, even occasional dissent among the ranks. But through it all, we have grown as both people and a business. Finding meaning in a shared goal certainly bonds you and makes it easier to deal with the ups and downs of growing a creative agency. When your work is about something you truly believe in, it makes it a lot easier to do even the most menial tasks because the end justifies the means.

There are a million reasons why one business succeeds while another fails, but taking that leap and making a living using your talents to make other people’s lives easier is why we stay up late and wake up even earlier. It’s funny how much difference one year can make and yet with passion, resilience and a lot of caffeine and sugar, we are managing to not only survive our infancy, but thrive in it. The next phase of Hi-Res Creative seems to be the best one yet. Our staff has grown and so have our services and the size of our projects. As we look toward the future, we can’t help but remember the past and those who believed in us enough to trust us with their livelihood and join us on this journey. Though we are forging ahead on a road less traveled, we have never been happier and that alone makes the entire ride worth it. Welcome to our revolution.
