Custom Illustration & Consistent Formatting
Port Corpus Christi is committed to providing a safe and professional workplace to protect the employees, customers and community. By creating an organized and straightforward safety manual, the Port is able to productively communicate about their safety program and employee expectations in order to maintain an effective safety culture. It is also an OSHA requirement that every business have a written safety manual.
The Port of Corpus Christi brought their project to HRMG seeking assistance in finalizing a much needed update. The manual’s contents were previously drafted and provided to us by the client. With formatting developed by HRMG, the final iteration of the manual was printed in 250 5” x 7” bound pocket books with laminated hard covers, tabs, and 104 full color printed sides for a total of 52 pages. The illustrations in the manual were created specifically for this project in Adobe Illustrator by Joshua Horowitz. HRMG worked directly with a local printer and managed the details of completion on behalf of the client.
The Port’s safety manuals will be modified twice a year in order to maintain an effective safety program as it evolves and improves.
