USS Kingsville Commissioning Committee
WEBSITE DESIGN / BRANDING
Client Overview
The USS Kingsville Commissioning Committee is a partnership comprised of the City of Kingsville, Kingsville Chamber of Commerce, and the Kingsville Council of the Navy League.
The committee’s mission is to raise awareness and sufficient funds to provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all participants of the weeklong festivities associated with the future USS Kingsville Commissioning Ceremony.
Website Development & Logo Project Overview
The USS Kingsville Commissioning Committee approached HRMG for assistance with building a website that would allow them to secure potential sponsorships and relay important news about the upcoming ceremony.
Working in collaboration with the City of Kingsville Director of IT, Kyle Benson, and Lance Hamm from the Commissioning Committee, HRMG designed a custom logo and website under their guidance. HRMG utilized professional licensed images of the littoral combat ship provided by ship manufacturer Austal USA, as well as other Creative Commons sources across the web.
The website features important information about the USS Kingsville, relevant news, donor recognition, and a sponsorship pricing table with benefits. As with all websites developed and hosted by HRMG, the website was built on LiteSpeed (a modern replacement for Apache web server) for fast load times, and a licensed cPanel platform with GUARD security and RAID SSD storage.
Since 2010, HRMG has been actively committed to supporting the development and recognition of South Texas’ communities both locally and on a national scale through quality digital representation. Though growing inflation has slowed economic growth, HRMG has made ongoing efforts to reduce cost and increase accessibility to high quality digital services throughout the Coastal Bend.
