Love Letters from the Content Desk

Recently a friend was telling me about a business who continually fails to respect the time and efforts of both its employees and clients and they are losing both rapidly. While no business is perfect, it really made me think about the four cornerstones that we use to operate here at Hi-Res Creative: trust, proactivity, passion and dedication. Your business can’t be successful if people can’t trust you and people don’t trust you unless you are proactive and you can’t be proactive without having passion and even your life’s passion can be hard to do each day if you aren’t dedicated to your work whether it’s a good day or a bad one.

I love being a writer. I love my desk. I love my elephant (which I can’t write without). I love everything that ties me to what I am and what I do. The funny thing about all relationships (business or otherwise) is that whether you commit to a person, a job, a responsibility or yourself, there is a reason you get up each day and choose what you choose. There is a reason you try to honor your responsibility to others. I want people to count on me and count on our team. It makes everything we do worthwhile. Some people always want what they can’t have, but maybe the secret to a happy life is just loving and growing what you do.
