Starlite Broadcasting owns and operates two radio stations located in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 2019, the company acquired KLTG The Beach 96.5 FM and its sister station, KLHB Wild 105.5 FM. The radio stations air adult top 40 and rhythmic contemporary programs, respectively.

Following the purchase of the radio stations, Starlite Broadcasting approached HRMG with a partnership proposal. After initial deliberation and research, HRMG proposed the specifics of the partnership, which included bolstering their brand, but also providing the stations with a relevant digital presence in order to help revitalize them. Each station’s website was unfortunately neglected and outdated. In order to provide a more user-friendly experience for their audience, the platforms were updated with new websites and ongoing content development.

Together with Starlite Broadcasting, HRMG took the request a step further and envisioned the very first media partnership for the Coastal Bend following the footsteps of media giants such as iHeartRadio and Townsquare Media. As professionals in the tech industry, HRMG has almost a decade of experience in multiple areas of media; it only made sense to add radio to the mix. With HRMG working as their ‘digital specialists’ the partnerships allow the companies to strategically produce incredible localized media, develop a digital advertising platform, and establish an entirely new world of programming with industry-leading branding.

In addition, localized content partnerships have been established with podcasts and publications such as Revolve One, PowerUp, and Right On Corpus. By collaborating and producing as one strong force in the industry, the partnership has created remarkable value for the smaller and medium markets that are still experiencing growth such as Corpus Christi.
